Our experience with Shelly was absolutely incredible. We were in such a crunch to find a home and working with a tough wishlist- walkability, room to put in a garage, backyard for our pups, not too pricey- yikes! :) She found a perfect place for us that met all of the criteria while making us feel like her only clients (and keeping me calm in the process- no easy task:)! She set us up with amazing contacts from our inspector to our closing folks- all were amazing. She really took care of us from day one all the way to closing and her knowledge of this area was invaluable when selecting a home. She is 'my Realtor' for any real estate transaction (as well as our friends and family) for as long as I live in Richmond, Va!

I have worked with Shelly to purchase 3 homes and to sell 2. Each time, throughout the entire process, she was extremely professional and helped me buy the home I was looking for in the desired area in my price range. Unlike other agents i have used in the past, she stayed in my price range and didn't push me into buying a more expensive house, even when I had the potential to purchase a more expensive home. Shelly quickly learned what i was looking to purchase and limit our viewings to those that had a potential saving me valuable time. When I wanted changes to a property to make it better for me Shelly helped by providing me with GOOD contractors to complete the work. I the middle of a divorce Shelly helped me sell 2 properties. She helped stage the properties and effectively set prices to get very good contracts in a short period of time, closing within 3 months after both were placed on the market. She did a fantastic job working with my ex-wife in trying to accomplish the sale of both houses when my ex preferred to stay put in the house and made it very difficult for agents to arrange for showings. She truly earned her money in a very difficult situation that I believe most agents would have given up to avoid the headaches. I think that Shelly really loved the challenges or at least was too stubborn to give in. Every single time that I have referred Shelly to a friend, they have thanked me and said that Shelly is great to work with. I strongly recommend Shelly McGee to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home. She will find a way to get the job done. I am also willing to talk to anyone interested in her services to provide a personal recommendation or answer any questions.

Shelly McGee was our realtor in selling our home and in buying our new home. She managed to get an offer on our home in under 4 days! When looking for our new home, she spent many hours driving from house to house helping us find the right one! This was a terrifying process for me, as I had no idea how things worked. Shelly always answered my questions quickly and calmed my fears. She was available at odd hours and consistently got back to me quickly! Without her strength and patience, I honestly would have given up! Shelly is excellent at what she does and went many, many extra miles in our case! I would recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home!

Shelly McGee was awesome to work with. From the moment we met her, she was on point with all our needs and helped us every step of the way. We were relocating and wanting to build in a specific neighborhood. She helped us find a rental in the same neighborhood while our new house was being built. Shelly answered every question we had and was the perfect realtor to have on our side during discussions with the builder. She was a pleasure to work with and would be my first person to call if we needed to buy/sell again.
